Feature Requests

Please add the ability to limit or eliminate user permission to add Contacts within the fax system. There is a concern that duplications will occur within Contacts. Meanwhile, users are being instructed to NOT add Contacts unless directed to do so by their management.

Please add the ability to either mark a fax as “Read” within the Inbox OR add an intermediate area between the Inbox and Archive where users can see faxes that have been viewed or partially managed, prior to being Archived. The challenge of Archived Faxes is the inability to open any attachments. Users are required to un-Archive the message to see the content.

The new UI is un-intuitive and hard to navigate. Sometimes you have to use one search field to look up a customer account, sometimes it the other one, depending on the menu your on. Why two? If you already have a customer filtered and go back to the page to search them again, it keeps them filtered, but doesn't show the result. if you remove the filter, then search them again, it adds them as the same filter and then shows the result. If you search a customer, it will show "no results found" for a few seconds before finally showing the results. I'm not sure why this UI was even changed, the last UI was perfectly fine, and easy to navigate. The new one feels like cheep vibe coded AI slop that no one bothered to perform any UX or accessibility tests.

It would make it easier to block spam fax senders by being able to block them on the 'History' page directly without having to navigate to Numbers, Blocked numbers, and adding them there.

Like the Blocked Numbers feature but reversed where only Approved contact numbers (set up like the Blocked List) can send faxes to client. Helpful for companies heavily targeted by inbound Spam faxing.

When we have fax failures due to busy fax or whatever the reason and documo automatically retries 3 times and then gives up, would it be possible to have it try another 3 times, but do it after normal business hours? Or try the first time and the other 2 tries are done after hours. All of our customers are clinics and their faxes are extremely busy during the day.

Update SFTP Authentication options to allow using an SSH Key.

I just uploaded 500 contacts and the fax number didn't appear correctly. Now I have to delete 20 at a time.
